Lighting and furniture colors all affect the way the paint will look, which is why we provide you with an 8×11 sample to hang on the wall allowing you to evaluate the color at different times of the day. Remember that sunlight adds additional light, but that light changes as the day moves from dawn to dusk. You want to make sure you like the color at all times of the day.
A paint consultation generally takes about two hours. We get to know you and discuss any other changes you will be making to each room after it is painted in order to ensure it will not affect the color choice. For example, whites, beiges, and blues will pick up different casts from lighting and furniture. Did you know that red furniture can change the hew on the wall? Everything in the room should be taken into consideration when choosing a paint color. Too many times we have seen homes having to be painted twice because the first color choice didn’t work so we take the guess work out and strive to help you make the right choice the first time! Once we narrow down the color, we can also provide samples to paint actual swatches on the wall to test with the lighting throughout the day.
